Custom Sports Inflatables - Tunnels, Balls, Mascots & More
Frequently Asked Questions
Each of our various pieces of Inflatable Sports Equipment is constructed of commercial grade 0.6m PVC tarpaulin. Tarpaulin is an effective and durable material that protects roofing from water damage or equipment from debris and heavy rain. It can still be best to store in an area free from extended UV exposure or ground objects and to prolong the overall life of your inflatables, as well as avoid dragging them across any textured surfaces.
Sports inflatable costs vary largely by the size of the object and the size of the blower. To put it into an easy and relatable context, the average cost to run a kid's bounce house is about $1.50 a day. Giant footballs and helmet tunnels are similar in size and blower motor and run about the same value in use. If the helmet or other equipment only runs for a few hours, expect to pay less in electrical operation costs. A majority of our sports inflatables also have an air pump system that keeps the air enclosed within the unit, eliminating the need for a blower and higher operating costs.
We build our inflatable sports equipment with some of the most durable materials on the market. Our commercial grade 0.6mm PVC tarpaulin is extremely resistant to punctures but should always be treated as if a puncture is possible. Try to make sure you always set up on a clear flat surface and avoid dragging the unit across the ground.
Most of our inflatable sports equipment can be fully inflated in 2-5 minutes (depending on the piece and size). Simply connect the included air pump to the inflating valve, and allow it to inflate until firm.
Most of our inflatable sports equipment is heavy enough to be used without anchors, but ground spikes can be added and used to tie down if desired, or ropes for added support to the length of the tunnel to prevent movement and potential damage.
With proper care and maintenance, our inflatable sports equipment should last many years. The PVC repair kit included with your equipment can easily patch any small punctures.
Custom sports equipment can be produced and delivered in at least 3 weeks. However, our standard delivery time is 10-12 weeks if no rush is needed. The complexity and specificity of the order, as well as the communication of the team, is a large determinant of delivery time.
We back our custom sports equipment for 1-year. This covers any defects in workmanship on the product. However, the warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or neglect.
A typical Inflatable blower motor runs between 1-2 Hp and operates at roughly 50-65 decibels. This is less than normal speaking volumes, which average around 70 dBa. But good news! Our sports inflatables do not require any noisy blowers to run constantly. Each sports inflatable is shipped with an air pump. Simply connect the pump, inflate until firm, then turn the pump off and close your air valve.
Wrinkles are almost completely unavoidable in most inflatable sports equipment due to the method of stitching and forming the shape of your product. However, there are a few steps you can take to reduce the amount of wrinkles. Always store clean and dry, lay your inflatable flat and fold it up as neatly as possible. A few hours in the sun upon re-inflating should be enough to remove any extra wrinkles caused by storage.
Most sports inflatables can be fully deflated in 5-10 minutes. Simply connect the air pump hose in reverse and turn it on. This will remove about 95% of the air. Remove the remainder of the air as you fold the inflatable up for storage.
